So my profile had downloaded, but I still couldn't sign in. The updated tried to run for maybe 5 minutes before failing. Then I signed out, and signed back in, and it asked for my email and password again for a security update of my Xbox profile. Randomly, one of my profiles downloaded right away.Įverything seemed to be fine. I planned on trying one more time with each profile this morning before testing a wired connection. I had been trying with two different profiles over the last couple of days with many of the things suggested here: clearing cache, disabling 2FA, using app passwords, toggling auto-billing off and on. I was able to download one of my profiles and sign in this morning, and then encountered some struggles before finally getting it to work. I’m guessing that when it happens, it doesn’t communicate properly with the Xbox 360 profile due to being out-of-date. I believe that this error happens when most of us switched from having multiple Xbox subscriptions to having one bundled subscription.
